Silverdale is home to a lovely multi-purpose-built facility. As you come into our modern, bright environment you will be greeted by warm, friendly office staff.
Our excellent, experienced teaching teams will be ready to welcome you at any time into our two separate learning environments which cater for up to 30 children each. The outdoor areas have been developed and created by professional early childhood landscape designers. The indoor to outdoor flow is ideal for children with a range of areas available for play activities from baking, to painting, woodwork, games and reading.
Each space has been created with best teaching practice in mind, and supervision is made easy. Well resourced, the core curriculum offered daily overflows into extension activities and provides for a diversity of ongoing learning opportunities.
The structure of the day is organised in such a way as to maximise a variety of learning experiences and to support individual styles of learning.
Each day we have a time together on the mat where stories and songs are shared, and at the end of the day, music and phonics. Each mat time is highly interactive and creates a platform for relevant activities to follow.
We include all ages in one learning space as we believe this encourages children of different ages to learn from each other. It also means children don’t have to transition through different classes as they grow.
With Kingsway School’s new entrant block just next to our preschool, we keep a close relationship with the primary school, making children’s transition to school, even smoother.

Please note: All sessions are subject to availability. We require a minimum of two sessions per week.
We have an open door policy; parents and other interested adults are welcome to visit at any time without an appointment.

Fee Schedule
Silverdale Fee Schedule
The standard hourly rate for children under 3 years old, and hours exceeding the 20 ECE hours, is $7.90.
Fees include an optional charge of $3.65 for every ECE hour. (Please see the Optional Charge section below for more information.)
Absenteeism / Sickness
Fees are charged as per permanent booking.
A late fee of $1 per minute shall be payable for children who are picked up after the centre’s specified end of session time
Two make-up sessions are available per term at the centre manager’s discretion when space allows.
OPTIONAL CHARGES
At KingsWay Preschools we are committed to providing an excellent standard of care, play and learning environments for your child.
To maintain this level of excellence we provide over and above the regulated standard of registered teachers, and teacher to child ratios as required by the Ministry of Education. We also provide morning and afternoon teas for the children.
