At our Snells Beach preschool, your child can experience the joy of simply being a child—running on the grass, climbing trees, and playing freely in nature. With our expansive outdoor space, they can explore, discover, and create unforgettable memories in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our experienced and caring teaching team is ready to welcome you to our Snells Beach Centre, where we nurture each child's unique journey of learning and growth. The center features two distinct learning environments, the upstairs facility for children 1 to 2 years and the downstairs environment for 2 to 5s.

The indoor and outdoor spaces at the centre provide endless opportunities for exploration, where children can experience a truly ‘kiwi-childhood’.

At our preschools, we believe in letting children learn at their own pace through plenty of free play. Our teachers meet each child at their level, observing and responding to their needs and interests. This allows us to tailor our approach to each child’s learning style and foster their individual growth.

Each day is carefully structured to offer a rich variety of learning experiences that not only support academic development but also encourage emotional and social growth. During our mat time, we share Bible stories, songs, and explore topics like numeracy, phonics, and cultural identities, including Te Reo Māori. These moments are interactive and provide a foundation for building compassion, kindness, and understanding—Christian values that resonate universally, regardless of background.

We include all ages in one learning space because we believe that children benefit from learning alongside each other. This mixed-age environment encourages peer learning and eliminates the need for transitions between classrooms as they grow.

Please note: All sessions are subject to availability. We require a minimum of two sessions per week.

We have an open door policy; parents and other interested adults are welcome to visit at any time without an appointment.

Snells Beach Fee Schedule

Free 20 ECE Hours for children 3 years and over!

Children 3 - 6 years old are entitled to receive the 20 hours ECE. It can be used at a maximum of 6 hours per day. Hours in excess of the 20 ECE Hours is $6.70 per hour.

Absenteeism / Sickness

Fees are charged as per permanent booking.

A late fee of $1 per minute shall be payable for children who are picked up after the centre’s specified end of session time.

Two casual sessions are available per term at the centre manager’s discretion when space allows.
